¡¡¡¡The nozzle made of polycrystalline diamond(PCD) has an unprecedented high wearproof property. The PCD nozzle developed by our company is characterized with the features of reliable performance and very long life, and its life is 5-10 times than that of boron carbide nozzle, and 50-200 times than that of hard alloy (WC-Co) nozzle.
¡¡¡¡PCD nozzle is composed of synthetic polycrystalline diamond core and wrap. PCD is the working part of nozzle and is synthesized through agglomeration of synthetic diamond powder under the condition of ultrahigh pressure and high temperature (60,000 atmospheric pressure, 1400¡æ-1500¡æ). The metal or plastic wrap will not only make a more accurate external size but also protect PCD core.
¡¡¡¡The effect comparison test shows that PCD nozzle has strong advantages and obvious performance-value ratio. And the test result is described as follows:
¡¡¡¡Select the hard alloy nozzle, boron carbide nozzle and PCD nozzle with inner bore of 6mm and §æ20¡Á35mm for a comparison, and conduct sand blast finish to the metal surface with high hardness with green silicon carbide with grain size of 24 meshes. Hard alloy nozzle may be used for 8-10 shifts; boron carbide nozzle may be used for 70-80 shifts; and the service life of PCD nozzle is more than 600 shifts.
