Who We Are

Haimingrun(HMR), founded in 2002, is a National High-tech Enterprise with large and modern production facilities, which is specialized in manufacturing PCD cutters and related products by advanced high temperature and ultra-high pressure technology. As one of the leading manufacturers of PDC cutters in China, HMR’s products have been sold to USA, Russia, Canada, Europe and won a high reputation for excellent performance, premium quality, high cost-performance, timely delivery and first-rate service in China and abroad.

Our Story

2002

HMR was established. Mr. Shangjie Li, the founder, and his team started manufacturing PDC cutters with a cubic press and a set of used machinery in a 1000㎡ workshop. HMR’S 1st piece of PDC cutter was born on Sep. 19th, 2002.

2003

HMR started mass production and its sales revenue came up to USD 1 million (basically China domestic sale). HMR was certified to ISO9001:2000 and accredited as Shenzhen Non-Government Scientific-Technological Enterprise.

2004

HMR developed highly abrasion-resistant polycrystalline diamond and PDC cutter with 25mm in diameter.

2005-2007

In 2005, HMR attended Daqing Oilfield Invitation to Tender and won 2 out of 4 main bids from more than 10 competitors.
In 2007, HMR was certified to ISO9001:2008 and obtained its first invention patent "PCD Nozzle and its processing method".

2008-2009

In 2008, HMR controlled 80% of Changqing PDC bits market with sales revenue of US$8 million. UG Series has a dramatically increasing demand and it was always in short supply.
In 2009, HMR started to explore international market and the export value of the year exceeded US$ 1 million.

2010-2012

In 2010, HMR was accredited as "National High-tech Enterprise". HMR moved to a 6-floor building with total 15600 square meters to extend the production capacity.

In 2011, HMR established the KPI system, processing management system and the sales volume exceeded US$15 million.

In 2012, HMR was certified to ISO14001: 2004.

2014-2016

In 2014, the sales revenue exceeded US$30 million.

In 2015, HMR was honored "Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises in Guangdong Province" and "Shenzhen Engineering Laboratory".

In 2016, HMR was honored "Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Super-hard Composite".

2017

HMR Zhongshan subsidiary and HMR US subsidiary established, and Zhongshan HMR Industrial Park started construction. HMR was honored "Guangdong Province Excellent Brand Demonstration Enterprise", "Shenzhen Top Brand".

2019

HMR Zhongshan facility, covers 35,000 square meters, considering as HMR manufacturing center, started producing.

HMR pays close attention to customers' demands and focuses on researching and developing better PDC cutters and other super hard materials to serve our customers. HMR offers products with excellent performance, premium quality and reasonable price, which are coming with timely delivery and carefree customer service.HMR has been among the leading PDC cutter manufacturers in China, and it is on the way to be a global leading supplier in super-hard material.
